Xi'an Branch of Chinese Academy of Sciences

Xi'an Branch of Chinese Academy of Sciences, an agency of Chinese Academy of Sciences, was founded in July 1954. Its predecessor was Northwest Branch of Chinese Academy of Sciences, which was abolished in July 1970. In November 1978, the State Council approved the establishment of Xi'an Branch of Chinese Academy of Sciences, which is now co-located with Shaanxi Academy of Sciences.

Shaanxi Academy of Sciences

Shaanxi Academy of Sciences is an institution directly under Shaanxi Provincial People's Government and engaged in comprehensive natural science research. It is co-located with Xi'an Branch of Chinese Academy of Sciences.It was established in April 1978, formerly known as Shaanxi Branch of Chinese Academy of Sciences.
